So I enter the world of blogging. I don't know why. I doubt anyone will read this and even if someone does it's not likely I'll keep it up to date. Oh well, I felt like doing it anyhow.

I got to visit with my Aunt Ava the other day. It had been 18 years since I last saw her. I knew I liked her but wow, now that I've met her as an adult I can't imagine anyone more awesome.

She has lived in Israel for I don't know how many years. At least 29 since I know she lived there when I was born. She is my mom's college roommate and thus not my biological aunt. I remember finding out that she wasn't my "real" aunt (as my brother put it, no doubt to make me cry) I was pretty upset. We met up with her in Seattle (we being my mom, my husband and my son) and spent the day together before she took off to visit relatives back east.

How can anyone not like someone based on their religion? I just don't understand. My Aunt Ava is the most fascinating person I have ever met in my life. If I never see her again I thank God that I had the chance to visit with her as an adult. I don't really expect anyone to read this but if someone does and decides that they would like to make any negative comments regarding the first sentence in this paragraph, don't. I am not interested in hearing your opinions unless they reflect mine. This is a blog, not a debate and really that question is rhetorical.

Alright, that's it for now. See ya.

Well, you won't get any comments unless you go to other sites and comment. Quid pro quo.

And I mean more than just mine and my wife's. But the more you post, the more you'll have visitors.

Well, I only read yours and Kirsten's because I like you guys. I don't know any of these other people. I have looked at some of their blogs and not found anything I have an opinion on. Besides, I really doubt I'll keep up with this. Especially when I take that last class this fall.

Well now I am embarrassed. I was going keep my hero worshipping low-key.
