So it's been pretty durn hot here in the Pacific Northwest. I realize that it's not really fair for us to complain about the heat considering it doesn't get hot enough to endanger lives. But it's been 80+ and that's really hot for us. I keep a spray bottle close by and mist water on the baby. Believe it or not, he likes it. He laughs and then comes closer so I can squirt it in his mouth.
The poor kid hasn't worn clothes in over a week, unless you count a diaper as clothes. He prefers not wearing clothes, as most babies do and we only make him get dressed if he's going somewhere and apparently he's figured that out. He likes to go "bye bye". Sometimes he'll decide that his Grandma is going to take him somewhere and he'll find his shorts and shirt and make her put them on him and then he'll get her purse and keys and take them to her and then he'll go to the door and say "Go!" He's a sweetheart and doesn't get mad when he doesn't get to "Go!" but it is cute to watch his mind working.
Well, it's only 52 degrees right now but the heat wave is on it's way and it will be 82 this afternoon. I guess I'll be greatful that we're not in Houston and put on some clothes so the neighbors will quit complaining.

How's schooling going? Ben's looking forward to starting 1st grade.
Hot! What do you mean it's hot there? ;-) I'm impatiently waiting for the days when it only 84.
Anyway, Steve wants me to ask you about how school is going.
Well, schooling is not going anywhere yet, I must see an advisor and find out if I need one class or two. I plan on running over to the school Monday (today- technically, but I haven't gone to sleep yet)
And tell Steve that you have enough on your plate without having to do his nagging for him ;)
Cassie...Hi again, love your web page....anyways....Yeah Philip love to run around in his bare bum to, but we only let him do that out by the little kiddies pool when he goes for a swim, tried it in the house here but it seems he pee's on the floor as soon as I take the diaper off....weird, he doesn't do that outside.
I just now saw that you're in Tacoma. We vacationed in WA and Vancouver this year, including three days in Leavenworth. My daughter loved it, and we had a great family time.
I haven't been to Leavenworth. That's a shame since I've lived here so long. Maybe we'll make it over there one of these days. We're really bad about never leaving the 3 mile radius that is our town.
