Costco Caskets?

I was just on the Costco website, looking to see when our closest Costco will be open and I noticed they have an area devoted to caskets and urns. I can't imagine being distraught at a loved one's death and thinking "Hmm, I bet I can get a better deal on a casket at Costco." People must do it though or they wouldn't sell them. I've only been in the position to pick out a casket once and fortunately I was high on percocet at the time or I doubt I would have made it through the occasion. But I know I didn't say to my Husband "Let's shop around, their prices are too high." I find it a bit humorous. Maybe they provide the caskets to funeral homes. I know that they have a lot of business customers. Anyhow, just an interesting note. I hope no one needs to know this information at anytime soon.

I need to go to Costco today to buy some of their ginormous pizzas. Our church is hosting the Phoenix Housing Network for the next two weeks and tonight we are providing dinner for the people that are participating. The Phoenix Housing Network provides transitional housing and housing assistance for homeless and at-risk families.

Well I'll write more about that later. We are in the middle of a huge windstorm and the lights keep flickering. Have a good day!

Bargain shopping doesn't just apply to the living. However, I bet you could find a deal on a used, or pre-owned, casket, as well...
