We had a quiet weekend while my DH was away at the ocean with the men's group from church. Friday we went to dinner with Yaya and then we went shopping. Jacky was very tired when we got home and went straight to bed and slept straight through without a sound. Yesterday Jack stayed home with Yaya and I went to a baby shower. In the evening I went to the birthday party of my former boss. It was fun. Jack played in their huge fenced yard with some other little ones and I visited with the adults. Daddy came home today and Jack was all sorts of excited. "Daddy doin?" he asked in a high pitched "concerned" voice with his head cocked to the side.
Daddy: "I'm fine buddy."
Jack: "Kay daddy." while he rubbed daddy's shoulder a couple of times. He's always been a daddy's boy. I do wonder if it has anything to do with the week they spent together when Jack was first born and I was in the hospital again. Not to mention the times I got sick in the first two or three months of his life and Daddy took care of him solely again. He still wants mama though; if daddy's not being "nice".
It's muggy today. It's cooled off a bit but all this moisture hangs in the air. Although it rained a little today so this evening it's a little better. Well I guess I'll be heading off to bed. Gotta work in the morning.

Have fun at work Cassie. It's so nice he has that relationship with his dad. Most boys are mummy's boys!
My daughter is definately a daddy's girl. I'm sure i'm only there to ask for food LOL
Oh, he does love his daddy. It's wonderful how excited he gets when he sees daddy come home from work. And sometimes daddy stops the car and waits for Jack to run out there and help him 'drive' it into the parking space. Jack is in heaven with his daddy.
Oh that's so lovely. I have encouraged Liam too from early on when his daddy returns home from work, I do the 'daddys home' and we go to the door and these days he squeeks with excitement and 'dada dada' non stop.
