My Life

Well we had a fun weekend, with the exception of a few unhospitable motel employees. I don't want to go into it right now... I've just finally gotten over being really P-O'ed. I'm still mad, mind you. I don't get over things that easily (just ask my first grade teacher-I'm still mad at her for putting me in detention way back then). On Friday morning when I woke up I went and opened Jack's door. He flipped around and looked and me and said "Boo." He is so cute. He was all ready to go see Grandma and Grandpa in Oregon. He had to wait until that evening though. We drove down shortly after work and got in late... around 9:30 or 10, I have no idea really, I just know we were tired. We went to the Enchanted Forest in Salem which was so much fun. They had kiddie rides and Jack rode the bumper boats, then he threw a fit outside the log flume ride (I was ready to scream, "Haven't you morons seen a two year old throw a fit before??" but I held back) They have all sorts of things for little guys to walk through, like tunnels and fairy tale castles and the wild west town center where Abe Lincoln was hanging out. Then Chippy the mascot came out and Jack went over there running as fast as he could and when Chippy had to go see other kids he cried cause he "loves Chippy". There's a little "theatre" called Blackbirds Bakery and there are five rows of small benches and a window with animatronic blackbirds singing from a huge pie. When we left that he said "Bye bye birds, love you!". He told us he was going home with his cousin. We swam in the motel swimming pool and he just squealed with joy when he held on to the back of my swimsuit and kicked his legs.

Unfortunately I now have his cold. Poor baby, now I know how bad he felt. It's no fun. Anyway, I'm going to take my cold to bed.
