Ok, I asked my boss what our office was going to do to commemorate National Talk Like a Pirate Day. He laughed and said we should come up with something. I'm thinking on it...

I refuse to commemorate such a foolish occasion. It is a waste of time and effort, and not something that is worthy of my energies or attention.
Shame on you, for such trivialities.
Or perhaps I'll practice my pirate speak and tell a bunch of good bad pirate jokes.
Last year I tried to teach fifth graders to talk like a pirate. Most of them didn't get it. I'll try it again this year and see we do any better.
We don't have it in Oz, but i'll follow your blog to see what comes up!
I just proved how dumb I was yesterday, on the radio I heard it's actually INTERNATIONAL talk like a pirate day.
