Another Update

All is well here. It's really great to have the babies home.

Erica is 5lbs 14oz. and Megan is 5lbs 10oz. They have each gained an ounce a day which means they are doing really well. We are having to log their feedings because we can't keep track of who ate what when and who had a wet or poopy diaper at what time. They haven't been pooping much, in fact they both have skipped a day. Every time we feel a rumble we get excited. We are feeding them Enfamil but the doctor said if they're extra gassy and grunty then we might need to switch them to Similac or Nestle Good Start.

Jack is so sweet. He loves his babies and has only asked us to take them back once or twice. Yesterday we went to Daddy's softball game and he wanted to play with daddy's bat. Since daddy said no he asked me to "Please can you say yes?"

Today we went to my work after going to the doctor and my childhood friend who also works there spent a lot of time with him. She took him for a ride in the electric cart and got him dressed in a safety vest which Jack said was to "Keep me from falling down." It's the same with his helmet. He wears it so he won't fall off his bike. That kid is so funny.

He has had some difficulty, he will be happy and all of a sudden he'll cover his eyes with his arm and growl at us for no apparent reason. We're trying to distract him when he does that. So today I said "Abracadabra Alacazion, I'm turning Daddy into a lion!" So Daddy roared. Meanwhile we're completely ignoring Jack until he comes around and starts playing too. He tells me to turn him into a snake. So I say, "Abracadabra Alacazake, I'm turning Jacky into a snake!" And he says, "No, you made a mistake, you turned me into a bear!" He's got this amazing imagination. Sometimes when he blows me a kiss he'll tell me I dropped it. And when I blow him a kiss he'll tell me I missed. No matter what it's my fault.

Well I hear a baby. Better go!

You have a big family now!So glad to hear that Jack is doing well with the girls..he'll be more amazed when they start to make him laugh in a few months time. And he's too cute; I love the things he said to you..the kiss dropped!

I have the one though as kids we nearly hated each other and he is five years younger than I am... But now he is the best little big brother you can ask for! :-)

Fantastic news!!! I'm so glad that you guys are now a complete little family.
Ha ha, my little one is the same, I blew him kisses and he pretends to catch them and go "got it".
Little boys are such cute things.
