We were at church a few weeks ago and the choir was singing and Jack was itchin' to get outta there. He was restless and kept moving around while I tried to hold him. Then the choir stopped and Jack turned around quickly and said "Are we done now?" the whole church just roared with laughter. The pastor said, "We're getting there Jack."
Today DH was putting together our new table and chairs and he mumbled that he was hot and irritable and Jack was holding DH's all purpose tool (sorta like a leatherman) and he told DH, "You're making me irritable with this."
We were making Christmas cookies today (the real kind)and Jack did something funny and DH said, "What the heck are ya doin'?" and Jack said, "I'm gonna heck you!" I guess anything can be a verb.
Today he was watching a Veggie Tales video and it was over so he came in the kitchen where Daddy was putting the table together and he said "My movie stopped and I don't clue it." He's a sponge, he doesn't get it right all the time but he tries to use what he hears in context. It's just that the things he gets right are usually things you don't want him to say.
