Life has been good to us this past month since my return to work. We are very pleased with how our childcare situation is working out. Our sitter is wonderful with the babies and she’s great with Jack. Her little girl (not mentioning names in order to protect their privacy) is 3 ½ and she’s a sweetie. They go to our church and her DH and his family attended the church ever since I can remember. Our sitter is a very active member of the congregation and she is a lot of fun. The little girl is so loving and she has really taken a liking to the babies. She has referred to them as “my babies” and that has not made Jack happy at all. He says they are HIS babies. He has come around and says he will share them but they are still his.
Jack can be quite a handful. He’s very precocious and a bit mischievous at times (ok a lot of the time). He seems to know that about himself. I’m not sure if I posted about our experience at Target when he wanted to come with me while I ran back to the pharmacy for something and I asked him if he was going to “mess around” and he ran back and waited with daddy. Apparently he was going to mess around. Rats, foiled again! Yesterday we wrapped a present for the neighbor who had a birthday party that we couldn’t make it to. Jack said, “I want you to put this up high so I don’t mess with it.”
Well, I better get going. I just wanted to give an update of sorts. We’re very busy around our home.

It's always better when you have a sitter you like and trust!
Jack sounds like quite the cutie!
