Well we have been out "treasure hunting" the past three days in a row. I am even dreaming about clues and trails. I even acknowledge that I am getting excercise and I still love it! We have found a total of 6 letterboxes now. We've found two that were presumed "dead" or "MIA". We've walked who knows how many miles and 4 of them were within 50 yards of eachother. You pretty much have to start at the beginning of the clues though. It doesn't work to try to find one box when starting from another because you are working off of compass points instead of landmarks for the most part.
We hid our first box today. I carved the stamp out of an eraser. I can't wait to see if our clues are good enough that people can find it. I also carved a new stamp for my "signature" last night. Anyway, that's what we've been up to lately. Jack has been sleeping really well after our hunts. He enjoys the walking but gets tired and ends up riding in the baby backpack about 1/8-1/4 of the way in depending on how much of a hike it is to where we're going.
Sheesh, I'm tired, I need to get to sleep. I'll catch up with everyone later.

Excellent hunting! Is your astronomy coming in handy with it?
"Hi, my name is Cassie and i'm addicted to Letterboxing"!!!
You do realise when Uni starts back the only letterbox you'll be going near is your own!
Steve-no astronomy is useless. Of course I didn't really start to do any of the work until this evening. I still don't have my text. It should be arriving tomorrow I hope.
Michelle- I can't do anything during the day because of Jack so I do my studying after he goes to bed so I can letterbox guilt-free during the day with him. Maybe I should concentrate more on my class but this is more fun ;)
Now, now... Cassie will be able to use the stars to guide her to the letterboxes, once she has finished the course. Shoot, she probably could even navigate a ship once she's done. Of course, she isn't in the Navy, but maybe she wants to be. Hey Cassie, are you enlisting?
They did increase the enlistment age to 42...
