Hurricane Relief Donations
UMCOR: The United Methodist Committee on Relief is a great place to donate funds for hurricane relief because the United Methodist Church pays all the administrative costs which means that 100% of your donation goes directly to the hurricane victims. Mark your donation "Hurricane Katrina Relief" to have your funds go to the victims of this tragedy.

The level of support and outreach that the regugees from New Orleans has received has been astounding out here in Houston. This morning, the news reported that there were 25,000 people in the Astrodome and 20,400 volunteers. On Saturday, the Dome had to actually turn away helpers because there were too many.
I just hope that these people aren't forgotten at the end of it all.
i think everyone that opened their homes...helped and assisted are rembered too.
