Blogs

I enjoy blogging and I like to visit my brother's blog but most of the time I have no idea what he's talking about and he loses me immediately. I know I'm not dumb or anything, I'm just not interested in current affairs. That stuff is so huge and so beyond me that I feel helpless and I don't like that feeling. I prefer thinking about the things which I can do something about. Like the Phoenix Housing Network. I don't like thinking about homelessness but since I was given a chance to help directly (not just writing a check) it became real and important. I also find it that way with the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association. Since they allow me to help them with typing tasks I have become very concerned with the problems people with PWS face and what their families deal with. Anyway, I must depart. I have important things to do, or talk about doing.

We all read blogs for different reasons, i guess blogs are just like people and it takes all kinds :)
Fantastic you get involved with organisations who are in need:)

It's selfish really, it gives me something to do and it feels good. I don't do that much really just some odd office things once in awhile.

I'm with you, Cassie, on that one. I made one or two attempts at trying to write something socially conscious, current-y affairish, and I bored myself to tears. I will read those blogs from time to time, but I'd much rather read about the individual who is writing. Oh well, I guess I'm shallow. :-)

Me too! Next to my grandchildren, I am my favorite subject to read about.
