I'm sitting here watching my precious offspring spoon feed catfood to the dog (a very willing participant). Just in case the dogs still hungry after the popcorn he spoon fed her a few minutes ago. Well at least he's not eating it himself.
Jack can count to 10. I'm so proud of him. It sounds like this; "One two fee four five shix that eight nine ten!" (he's always excited when he reaches ten)
Jack decides he wants to do something he knows he is not supposed to and he'll say; "Dink mommy's poppy, kay?" as he puts his mouth on my straw and ignores the "No poppy!" that is coming out of my mouth. I guess he thinks as long as HE says it's "kay" it's okay.
When Jack wants to watch Veggie Tales sometimes he hunches over with his hands on his knees and says "Boomp boomp, boomp boomp mama."
He's now spooning catfood onto his play computer's screen while I watch (and my DH says I don't watch him!) Our loyal dog is guarding him with her life (lest there should be no more catfood to eat!)
We went to the park the other day to hide a letterbox (there was already one in the spot we chose! What an exciting find since we weren't even looking for it!) and we took the dog who promptly pooped as soon as we got onto the trail. Fortunately for us she didn't poop ON the trail because we (as responsible pet owners) did not have anything to clean up the mess with (hey, we haven't taken the barking machine for a walk in over a year we forgot so sue us!) so we tried nonchalantly to walk away. Well Jack wasn't having any part of that! He started yelling at the top of his lungs "AAAAAHHHH Gacie poopy!! Ahhhhhhhhhhh icky!!!!!!!" and stood there pointing at it. So much for nonchalant.
That's all the time I have for today folks. Come back tomorrow and I'll tell you the tale of the nightmare hunt before Easter.
