Bob da Mato!

I think he's Italian maybe?

Anyhow, my dear little guy and I were watching tv the other day we saw a teeny tiny baby on the screen. Well Jack loves babies. He can't go by a stroller without running to it and shouting "Baby sleepin'?!" at the top of his lungs. "Ahh, not anymore honey." So anyway we're watching tv and we see the baby and he gets excited so I ask him if he wants mama to have a baby for him. He says "Yeah!" so I asked him if he wanted a boy or a girl and he yells "Bob da Mato!" Apparently he wants me to give birth to a vegetable. By the way, I'm not pregnant, before anyone asks.

I'm going back to work again on Monday. I'm feeling a little sad about it because of leaving Jack all day but it's only for about 3 weeks this time and he'll be staying with my friend whom he loves dearly. I'll be going back in June for 6 months to a year but at that time he'll be going to daycare. I think I found a pretty good one. I know someone whose child went there and she was happy with it. She's someone I have a lot of respect for and I respect her opinion. It makes me feel a lot better about it. I think he'll actually prefer it to being at home. He's very social and loves to be around other kids as well as adults.

Anyway, in other news we bought a new lawnmower and my DH mowed the backyard (a good thing we almost lost our dachsund the other day)anyway he put the box in the garage and as I was walking through the garage I tripped over one of his stupid weight machine things and fell backwards into the stupid box. It hurts bad. My whole back hurts, especially the left shoulder region and my DH yelled at me about watching where I was going while he helped me up. Like he has reason to be mad. I was the one who almost died in a lawnmower box. The whole time Jack is saying "Tay mama? Tay? Broka da box mama, broka da box!"

The love around here overwhelms me sometimes.

Sounds as though Jack has a touch of Scicilian in him!
So glad you found a decent daycare centre. It's a tough decision to make, wonderful you have a friend whose opinion you can rely on :o)

Feel better soon :o)

Yeah, he's got that funny little accent. I'm not bruised yet (at least outwardly) from my fall but I'm sure it's coming. I told Gramma that I watch too much Law and Order and wanted to make sure that in case I was found dead somewhere people wouldn't think my husband beats me. lol maybe going back to work will be good for me. Less time to watch tv.
