Fine Dining and WWE

Well as some of you might have noticed from my mom's blog; Saturday was my birthday. We enjoyed a nice lunch on the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train. It was a lot of fun. Jack loved it. Food, and on a train to boot! He was in heaven. The picture to the left (at least that's where I told blogger to put it)is of Jack with Daddy. Jack was fascinated with the beer that Daddy poured into a glass (he usually just drinks it from the bottle at home-this was exciting!!) and couldn't get enough of watching the foam fizzle down.

We enjoyed the stopover at the Columbia Winery in Woodinville and I even hid a letterbox there. When we got home we cleaned house just in time for our friends to stop by to celebrate my birthday. It was a lot of fun.

This evening we headed out to the Tacoma Dome to experience WWE, which is wrestling to the layman. I don't watch it usually but I found myself caught up in the excitement. It was fun to see the people come out on stage but then I got bored, until the next people came out. They have such grand entrances that it makes the rest of it kind of anticlimactic.

Well I'm thinking about getting ready for bed. I hope everyone else had a good weekend too.

Cassie has had some exciting birthdays, like the year she flew to San Angelo (Texas' Garden of Eden!) and I drove her around the better part of the state.

Hannelie, The pictures of me didn't turn out so great. :( I distinctly remember pressing the "take off 50 pounds" button but it didn't work.
Michelle, Thank you. I had a great day and didn't spend much time online anyhow so it's ok. :)
Steve, Didn't we go to Red Monster for my birthday dinner that year? I believe that was my 25th birthday. It was the last birthday before Steve and Kirsten got married and also the last birthday before I got married.

That was a fun, but tiring, day. I think we all enjoyed the train ride like it was brand new to us, just by watching Jack's joy.

Hannelie, he comes by the blonde hair honestly. His mom was a strawberry blonde until the last couple of years, and his Uncle Steve was a towhead. My hair stayed blonde into my 40s. Now I pay good money to keep it a lovely natural blonde! Even his daddy was a little blondie, judging my his baby pictures.

You really ought to write about the little boys playing in the big puddle. They had so much fun!

Happy Birthday! We've never done the dinner train, but I have thought about it. What a great way to spend a few hours. I actually interviewed with a lawfirm that helped the WWF go public (did you know they are a publically traded stock?).
