I just wanted to post before my sweet angel baby wakes up. He's usually up by now but we were out late last night celebrating.
For months now I've been planning on going back to work in June. Then they called me a few weeks ago and asked if I wouldn't mind coming in for a month to cover the front desk while the receptionist is out of town for a family emergency. I may have posted this info already, bear (bare? lol) with me. Well last week I was told that there was a snag with my upcoming employment and that I might not be able to come back in June. I said I would wait to hear. Then towards the end of last week I heard from the daycare and they had a spot for Jack but wanted a deposit that would be non-refundable. So I put her off and waited and didn't hear anything so I mentioned it to my "boss" and she told another co-worker who was in the Division Manager's office within the next hour to say "Hey what's going on?" Due to the persistence of these two wonderful people I will not only have a job in June but I will continue to work uninterrupted until, through and beyond June and will have a raise to boot. I will continue to work part time until Jack starts daycare and then will move to full time. It's still considered temporary but at least it's a step closer.
We visited the daycare yesterday to get paperwork. Jack cried a little when I left the room to go do the registration stuff but when I came back to get him he didn't want to leave. He screamed, cried and layed down on the floor until I picked him up and carried him out. I think he likes it there. Well I better go get the little stinker up now. We have to leave in half an hour.

Congratulations Cassie!! I think i'm early but Happy Birthday too :o)
Such wonderful news, so glad Jack will fit in :o)
Congrats on the job and the raise! BTW--thanks for the wonderful present, can't wait to light up the candles, try out the bath salts and have a "Calgon, take me away" moment (of course, you may be too young to remember those ads). :-)
I'll be sending out yours soon. The third design was the charm.
I remember the "Calgon Take me Away" commercials. I used to want some cause I thought when you took a bath in Calgon you could magically travel to a distant tropical paradise... Like the bathtub was a time/place machine.
I'm glad you liked your present. :)
I'm excited about mine. :)
Hi! Looks like Congratulations are in order here :)
I liked your blog. Highly readable :)
Keep it up.
