To our great relief there is only one baby. The doctor said that the one baby is doing well. That's the good news.
The bad news is that they can see the scar on my uterus during the ultrasound and that means that my uterus is compromised. It should have been completely healed and not visible by now. They will take the baby at 35 weeks. Meanwhile they will be doing things to make sure the baby is ready by then. I will be getting a shot every week of something or other starting at 16 weeks. It looks like I won't probably have to have a cerclage (where they sew the cervix shut). That's a good thing too. This pregnancy is starting to look scary. I wasn't afraid until now. I can pretty much guarantee that this is the last time we do this. I guess since it's been so long since Jack was born I forgot how serious everything was. Anyway, back to work.

The other good news is that they are following you so closely and taking extra precautions. And when you throw in the many prayers and good thoughts people are surrounding you with, that's a lot more good news. We need to take it seriously, and one day at a time, AND be glad you have good doctors. I love you.
Oh Gramma, what a nice note you left Cassie, it makes me all teary. I wish I could hear my mum say that!
Cas, good news as you say and yes, the docs knows about every thing and will keep their eyes on your growing bubs and you and take care of you both.
Stay well.
Don't worry too much, dear. You have to believe evrything will be allright. Just remember you're in good hands.
