Anyhow, Erica is on the left and Megan is on the right in this picture and Jack is in the middle; happy to be holding his girls. I still can't tell the babies apart. We're really starting to wonder if they are indeed identical. There's only a small chance that they might be since they implanted as two separated embryos. Apparently around 10% of identicals split early enough to implant separately. My former neighbor had identical twin boys that were completely separate and I know of another set of twins that appear identical but swear they aren't because they were separate. Even the nurses at the hospital when I went in this last time sounded a little wary of believing they could be identical and have been in the same sac. The nurses on the maternity floor know that this happens but apparently it's not a well known phenomenon.
