BPA and Phthalates

I work for a local municipality in their division that deals with environmental issues. I've been hearing for many years about BIS(2-ETHYLHEXYL)PHTHALATE and the impact it has on marine life. Bisphenol-A (BPA) is not one that I am very familiar with. But the more I read the more concerned I become. It seems like it's everywhere and in everything. The thing I am most concerned about are the items we use to feed the kids. Our bottles have these chemicals in them and so do many plastic cups/plates and flatware.

Fortunately there are more and more alternatives coming out everyday. One website I found features items that are BPA and Phthalate free. There is a link below that will take you to their website and they are even giving away some feeding kits that are free of these harmful chemicals.

Some people just love to come look at your blog and see new pictures or read new stories about babies. But some people have to leave with no gratification.
