Yes it's true. We were at church last night for a meeting and happened to get there in time for Tuesday night Communion. I got my little piece of bread and Jack promptly grabbed it out of my hand and ate it. Not that he isn't allowed to take part in communion since the Methodist Church doesn't place any limitations on who may participate but that was my piece of Jesus. Fortunately my mom was standing next to me and gave me part of hers. Ahh, all's well that ends well.
After communion we went over to the parlor for the meeting. It was not easy to pay attention with Jack running around looking for something to get into. They didn't realize that I would have a need for childcare so they didn't schedule anyone in the nursery. Hopefully next time we meet I can leave him at home with his daddy. Last night his daddy was fishing. He had been planning this fishing excursion for awhile and I just found out about the meeting yesterday. Our little guy actually fell asleep in someone's arms last night and he NEVER does that. It was sweet but I was a little jealous that I wasn't the one holding him since he doesn't usually like to snuggle when he's tired. He's one of those kids that only wants his own bed when he's tired. Oh well I guess I'll just be happy that he fell asleep at all while we were there.

I was a little jealous, too. But I think it was good for our friend; she needed something to feel good about.
my daughter used to be like that, wanting her own bed and she'd force herself to stay awake and be all miserable in the process!!
At 9, now she'll sleep anywhere!
Boy am I glad to hear that she outgrew that. Maybe there is hope!
